SOLVED: KEDAI REPAIR LAPTOP JURU | TOSHIBA L40-A BATTERY NOT DETECTED, SUSPECT BATTERY PROBLEM

BATTERY NOT DETECTED?

BATTERY PROBLEM?

One of our customer complained about his laptop’s BATTERY NOT DETECTED. He so stressed because he need to try and error to make sure it charges or not. He contacted us to give his laptop to check the BATTERY.

There are 5 possible reasons a laptop BATTERY does not charge:

1. The charger is broken

2. Charger socket on the laptop body

3. Wire plug

4. Fuse

5. The BATTERY is damaged

Here are the steps to identify the problem:

Step 1 - the charger is broken. If you don’t have tester equipment, you need your friend’s laptop charger to know if your laptop charger is faulty or not. If your friend's charger is ok, this means your laptop charger is broken. Need a new change.

Step 2 - charger socket. The charger socket on the body of the laptop that appears to be sinking or shaking is also the cause of the laptop not being able to charge. This may be a broken wire or socket. It can be repaired by replacing a new socket. The cost of repair is not expensive.

Step 3 - plug wire. Usually the charger wire is divided into 2 parts. Socket wire and adapter wire are rectangular in shape. In most cases, the rectangular adapter wire is damaged on the inside. If this happens it is necessary to replace the charger adapter with a new one.

Step 4 - Fuse. Inside the head of this socket there is a fuse to prevent the laptop from being damaged if it receives a large electric current. Usually change the fuse, God willing, it's done.

Step 5 - The BATTERY is damaged. This is the final decision when all the above steps have been done. Usually the BATTERY will be damaged after 2 to 3 years of use. The new switch is complete.

After our technician checked the BATTERY, it’s already outdated and used more than 7 years.

SOLUTION: NEW BATTERY REPLACEMENT.
